Summons - Property offences - Leanyer

Northern Territory Police have summonsed a 17-year-old male for alleged property offences.

At around 3:30am on Tuesday 3 March 2020, the male allegedly forced entry into a Leanyer residence and stole a vehicle.

At 4:40am, the male fuelled the vehicle at a service station in Coolalinga and drove off without paying. Approximately 20 minutes later, police pursued the vehicle throughout Palmerston and the northern suburbs. The vehicle was later located abandoned in Malak.

Subsequent police investigations identified the male.

The male has been summonsed to appear in court for:

  • stealing x 2
  • aggravated unlawful entry
  • damage to property
  • aggravated unlawful use of motor vehicle.
