Puppy paradise will take over the Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park again this Sunday 23rd April, as the Dogs in the Park event headlines festivities and plays host to the National Greyhound Adoption Day - GAPNSW's biggest adoption event for the year. Discover the fun with doggie boot camps, demonstrations and trainer talks, plus the ever-entertaining agility arena and a special doggie market featuring a variety of stalls with all the latest and greatest to pamper your beloved pooch. The Doggie Boot Camp demonstrations will also feature dog trainer talks, while the action will be high speed in the Dog Agility Arena, featuring jumps, tunnels and hoops. From a competition standpoint, the best four-legged dogs from a wide range of breeds will come together to decide various titles including the Smallest Dog, Tallest Dog, Waggiest Dog Tail, Fancy Dress, Cutest Puppy and Dog, Dog's Got Talent, Races, Veterans Aged Over 10, Best in Show and the ever-popular Dog Owner Look-a-Like contest. Dogs in the Park will also feature the biggest greyhound adoption event of the year, as they host the annual Greyhounds as Pets NSW (GAPNSW) National Adoption Day. With over 40 retired racing greyhounds available for public viewing and adoption, team members will be available to help match the dog's needs, personality and lifestyle to its future family. GAP Celebrity Ambassadors Dr Katrina Warren and Todd McKenney will also be on site throughout the day. "We are proud to be partnering with Dog's in the Park again this year, the Greyhounds as Pets NSW (GAPNSW) event has always been such an important day on our Show's calendar," said Britt Osborne, Event Director of the Sydney Family Show. For those wanting to adopt a Greyhound it is advised that people pre-register via the GAPNSW website www.gapnsw.com.au, however it is still possible to adopt on the spot at the show. The Sydney Family Show continues to take over the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park until Sunday 23rd April, from 10am to 5pm daily and promises to deliver seven hours of non-stop entertainment, activities, and attractions each day. Entry prices to the Sydney Family Show are $25 for an adult; $13 for a child; and $65 for a family of four. Rides, showbags, carnival games and some attractions are at an additional cost. F
