Raptor Squad, under Taskforce Falcon, have charged two people for their alleged involvement in multiple public place shootings under Strike Force Subbard.
Strike Force Subbard was established by State Crime Command's Raptor Squad under Taskforce Falcon to investigate three public place shootings and associated violent offending that occurred between Saturday 14 March and Tuesday 7 April 2026 in Colyton, St Johns Park and Panania.
Following extensive inquiries, about 8.30am on Sunday (17 May 2026), strike force detectives arrested a 15-year-old in Bow Bowing.
He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where he was charged with armed with intent commit indictable offence, drive conveyance taken without consent of owner, police pursuit - not stop - drive recklessly, and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
The teenager was refused bail and appeared in a children's court on Monday 18 May 2026, where he was granted conditional bail to reappear on Monday 25 May 2026.
About 8.40am today (Wednesday 20 May 2026), strike force detectives arrested a 21-year-old man in Silverwater.
He was charged with fire firearm at dwelling etc organised criminal activity, be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner and participate in criminal group.
The man was refused bail to appear in Bail Division Court 6 tomorrow (Thursday 21 May 2026).
Polie will allege the older man was the gunman in the alleged shootings, while the teenager drove the car.
