Taskforce Falcon Charges Woman in Spy Operation

Taskforce Falcon detectives have charged a woman for her alleged involvement in a highly coordinated surveillance operation.

On Saturday 18 April 2026, police were called to a home on Fairmont Street, Merrylands, and Woodstock Street, Guildford, following reports of shots fired.

Officers attached to Task Force Falcon attended and established crime scenes at both locations.

While responding, police observed a black SUV travelling on Woodville Road, Merrylands.

The vehicle allegedly failed to stop, and a pursuit was initiated, before it was terminated for safety reasons.

The vehicle was found abandoned on Alexander Street, Fairfield, and following a search of the area, a 17-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man were arrested and taken to Cabramatta Police Station.

Following a subsequent search, police allegedly located and seized firearms and two jerry cans.

The pair were charged and remain before the courts.

Following extensive inquiries, police became aware that highly organised surveillance was being conducted on a 44-year-old man allegedly linked to the two younger men, responsible for the shootings.

As inquiries continued, detectives allegedly uncovered evidence an 18-year-old girl was allegedly involved in the planning of an act of violence against the man by conducting surveillance on him, armed with a knife.

About 2.50am yesterday (Monday 11 May 2026), detectives with assistance of Raptor Squad, executed a search warrant at a home in Merrylands.

The 18-year-old girl was arrested and taken to Granville Police Station, where she was charged with participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, armed with intent commit indictable offence, attempt stalk/intimidate intend fear of harm (personal) and custody of knife in public place.

She was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today (Tuesday 12 May 2026).
