The Australian delegation will see a number of state governments, the Australian Ambassador to the United States, State Ministers, over 170 companies and 320 delegates standing united at the BIO International Convention.
Taking place in Boston from 5-8 June and hosted by the Biotechnology Innovation Organisation (BIO), the BIO International Convention is the most influential event in the global life sciences calendar. It draws more than 15,000 biotech and pharma leaders from 7,000 companies and 84 countries, and includes more than 1,500 exhibitors and 850 speakers.
AusBiotech will host the Australian Wine Tasting Event this week, a hallmark feature of the Australian Pavilion (booth 2765), thanks to support from the Brisbane Economic Development Agency, NSW Health, Queensland Brain Institute - The University of Queensland, Institute for Molecular Bioscience - The University of Queensland, and Translational Research Institute Australia.
The Pavilion features major supporters, including MTPConnect, Austrade, CSIRO and state governments: New South Wales Government, South Australian Government, Victorian Government, Queensland Government and Western Australian Government.
BIO 2023 includes a week of intensive networking and events including panels, presentations, workshops, and networking events for life science professionals. Themes and topics being explored include infectious diseases, oncology, COVID-19, gene therapy, and digital health.
