25 finalists have been named across six categories in the 2026 Northern Territory Disability Inclusion Awards.
Finalists were selected from 46 nominations and recognise people, organisations, schools and services creating practical opportunities for Territorians with disability to participate, lead and thrive.
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at Parliament House on Friday, 25 September 2026.
The Finocchiaro CLP Government is proud to announce 25 outstanding finalists in the 2026 Northern Territory Disability Inclusion Awards.
The finalists include disability advocates, educators, support workers, service providers and community organisations, with work ranging from culturally safe therapy in remote communities and inclusive education, to employment initiatives, accessible community events and rights advocacy.
Minister for Disability Jinson Charls congratulated the finalists and said they were making a genuine difference to the lives of people living with a disability.
"These finalists show what disability inclusion looks like in action. They are removing barriers, opening doors and helping Territorians with disability participate and thrive in their communities," Minister Charls said.
"I congratulate every finalist and thank all 46 nominees for your tireless work in improving lives here in the Territory. Your ideas, advocacy and commitment are strengthening our community and helping build a Territory where every person is valued, respected and heard.
"The finalists represent the best of the Territory, defined by a clear purpose: expanding choice, opportunity, independence and belonging for people with a disability."
The Northern Territory Disability Inclusion Awards awards support the vision and outcomes of the Northern Territory Disability Strategy 2022-2032 and encourage a broader cultural shift towards greater inclusion across the Territory.

The six category winners and an overall winner will be announced at the awards ceremony at Parliament House on Friday, 25 September 2026.
