Texas Students to Hear from NASA Astronauts Aboard Space Station

Houston area students will have an opportunity this week to hear from NASA astronauts aboard the International Space Station. The space-to-Earth call will air live from 11:30 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. EDT on Thursday, Sept. 22, on NASA Television, theNASA app, and the agencys website.

NASA astronautsBob Hines and Kjell Lindgrenwill answer prerecorded questions from students attending Sam Houston Math, Science, Technology Center High School. Questions will come from members of the ROTC, National Honor Society, and physics classes. The downlink will connect students coursework to life and work aboard the space station.
