More than 1000 students will be singing, dancing, and entertaining the masses at the 2022 Annual BEAT Festival 'TIME' held on 7, 8 and 9 September 2022

Starring talented students of all ages from across the NT, the festival at Darwin Entertainment Centre features performances from choirs, dance troupes, rock bands, instrumental ensembles, dramatic items and soloists.

Audiences over the three nights are expected to exceed 2500.

The BEAT Festival is a memorable and inclusive educational experience for all participating students and provides unique 'real-life' training for students performing as part of their Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training. The event also offers rare opportunities for professional development for our teachers.

Feature acts and singers:

· Lucinda Rose, Darwin High School - upcoming soloist

· Eilis Evans - song writer and soloist

· Lost in Time - largest rock band to feature in the Beat

· Scrub Foul - popular punk rock band

· Taminmin senior students dance troupe

A highlight of the festival this year will be the 750-strong choir and performances from four remote schools who have travelled to Darwin to participate in the event.

The BEAT Festival, now in its 43rd year, is produced by the NT Music School and the BEAT Foundation Incorporated and is proudly supported by the Department of Education.

Tickets are still available through [http://www.yourcentre.com.au]
