UK Gov Warns Against Veterinary Use of Human Eye Gels

We would like to make veterinary surgeons aware that the MHRA has issued a warning that relates to human eye gels that may be prescribed/used under the cascade.

Therefore, the VMD would like to bring the following information, issued by MHRA, to the attention of the RCVS and veterinary practices.

MHRA has provided precautionary safety advice to health professionals, patients, customers, and distributors via a Device Safety Information notice (DSI/2023/11)
