The Memorandum of Understanding between UNITAR and IACA, signed on 15 December 2020, seeks to build a foundation and framework of cooperation between the two partners. It is based on the mutual concern for the seriousness of threats posed by corruption to democratic values like integrity and justice and recognizes the importance of international collaboration in order to protect said values.
