  • Perth to co-host United Cup tennis tournament again in December
  • Tournament brings world's top-ranked tennis players to WA for an exciting week of round robin competition
  • Last year's event attracted thousands of spectators and injected millions of dollars into the WA economy

The United Cup will once again bring the world's top-ranked tennis players to Perth's RAC Arena in December, following the introduction of the tournament last summer.

The United Cup will be co-hosted by Perth and Sydney for the second time, starting from 29 December, and will feature mixed teams of the best female and male players in the world across 18 countries.

Sydney and Perth will each host nine teams three groups of three countries who will compete in a round robin format for the USD $10 million prize pool, plus 500 world tennis ranking points.

Each tie will include one men's singles, one women's singles, and one mixed doubles match, with group winners and the best runner up from Perth and Sydney to advance to the quarterfinals, which will be played across locations on 3 January 2024.

Winners of each quarterfinal will then progress to the finals, to be held in Sydney from 6 to 7 January 2024.

The official draw for the countries that will be represented and who will play within each group will be held next month.

The inaugural United Cup set the tournament up for future success in the State, attracting thousands of spectators to RAC Arena throughout the busy summer holiday period and injecting millions of dollars into the WA economy.
