One person has died following a serious crash in Karaka this afternoon.
A second person has been transported to hospital in a moderate condition.
The crash on Karaka Road was reported to Police around 2.35pm.
The Serious Crash Unit is in attendance and road closures remain in place between Blackridge and Oira roads.
