Updated COVID-19 Directions 2020- Cross Border Travel No 19, South Australia

An update has been made to the Cross Border restrictions in South Australia.

The Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel No 18) (COVID-19) Direction 2020 has been revoked and replaced by the Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel No 19) (COVID-19) Direction 2020. This new Direction comes into effect as of 0001 Sunday 22 November 2020.

The following change has been made to the Cross Border Travel Direction in South Australia:

Commercial Transport and Freight Services operators are no longer required to produce to an authorized officer evidence of a COVID-19 test or test result relating to a test undertaken within the preceding 7 days and is not required or in future.

All people travelling to SA must complete the Cross Border Travel Registration form here: https://forms.police.sa.gov.au/Runtime/Runtime/Form/CrossBorderTravel/

It is acknowledged that many restrictions still apply, but they are critical in dealing with the spread of COVID-19.
