UQ Wins NHMRC Grant for Health Research Boost

Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences Executive Dean Professor Danny Liew has secured $1 million from the NHMRC Support Research Translation Centres scheme to translate health research into clinical practice.

Professor Liew will lead the 2-year project in collaboration with Health Translation Queensland (HTQ).

This project will expand HTQ's activities to remove barriers between health research discovery and implementation by streamlining research processes and supporting skill development in the workforce to support healthcare outcomes for the community.

Health Translation Queensland is a partnership organisation that brings together 12 Queensland universities, medical research institutes and health services.
