Victorian Man Finds $1.8M Lotto Win After Wife Nudges

A resident of Broadmeadows, Melbourne, had an unexpected twist to his weekend when he discovered he had won a staggering $1.8 million in the recent TattsLotto draw.

The fortunate Melburnian was one of the 11 lucky Australians who clinched the division one prize in the TattsLotto Saturday Lotto draw 4409 on Saturday, 21 October 2023. Each of these winners walked away with a prize of $1,818,181.82.

Still reeling from the incredible news, the man recounted the moment he found out about the win.

“My wife checked her TattsLotto after dinner last night and she realised she didn’t win anything, so she told me to check mine".

"I told her that I would check it later in the night, but she kept persisting that I check the ticket," he said.

“We couldn’t believe it. We were in so much shock".

Excitedly discussing the future, the winner shared that he and his wife had already begun making plans for their sudden windfall. Top on their list is purchasing a new home and settling some debts.
