As part of its Rejuvenating Politics initiative, the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe is calling for applications from young people from Council of Europe member States, aged between 18 and 30, to take part in its 2026 youth delegates programme.
One young person from each of the 46 member States of the Council of Europe will be invited by the Congress to:
- Take an active part, as a youth delegate, in its 52nd (23-25 March 2027) and 53rd (26-28 October 2027) sessions in Strasbourg, France;
- Develop their own grassroots project back home (under the auspices of the Congress).
One young person in respect of Morocco and one in respect of the democratic forces of Belarus may also be invited to participate in the programme in 2027.

Please note:
- Applications must be submitted to the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities by 30 November 2026 at 23:59 CET at the latest;
- Selected youth delegates must commit to taking part in the whole of the two sessions of the Congress in 2027;
- All candidates will be informed of the results of the selection procedure by email by 15 February 2027 at the latest.
