Navy Rear Adm. Joseph F. Cahill III for appointment to the grade of vice admiral, with assignment as commander, Naval Surface Forces/commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, San Diego, California. Cahill is currently serving as commander, Naval Surface Force, Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia.
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Carey H. Cash for appointment to the grade of rear admiral, with assignment as chief of Chaplains of the Navy, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Cash is currently serving as chaplain of the Marine Corps/deputy chief of Chaplains of the Navy, N097B, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
