Goulburn Mulwaree Council advises that civil works for water main upgrades will soon be undertaken along Goldsmith Street, between Fitzroy Street and Albert Street.

The project will involve service locating, boring, and excavation works, primarily within the footpath along this section of Goldsmith Street.

Preliminary works, including service locating, are scheduled to commence on 28 April 2026. Major construction works are expected to begin in early to mid-May 2026.

Traffic control measures and pedestrian detours will be in place for the duration of the project. While disruptions to traffic are expected to be minimal, members of the public requiring assistance are encouraged to speak with the on-site traffic control officer or site supervisor.

Council advises that there will be no interruptions to the water supply during the works, except for a minor shutdown when final connections are completed.

Goulburn Mulwaree Council appreciates the community's patience and cooperation during these essential infrastructure improvements.

If you have any questions, please call 4823 4468 and ask to speak to the Infrastructure Engineer.
