Western Australia coronovirus update as at 14 December

The Department of Health has today reported one new case of COVID-19 in Western Australia, bringing the State's total to 837.

The confirmed case – a man in his 30s – travelled to Perth from overseas. He is in hotel quarantine.

WA Health is monitoring 10 active cases and 818 confirmed cases have recovered from the virus in WA.

Yesterday 651 people presented to WA COVID clinics – 643 were assessed and swabbed.

There have been 587,540 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 96,642 were from regional WA.
