A man has died following reports of a stabbing in Whittington this afternoon.
Emergency Services were called to a property in Planet Court about 3pm after reports a man had been stabbed.
On arrival police found a man in his 40s suffering life threatening injuries.
He was taken to hospital where he later died.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are still being established and a crime scene has been set up.
Detectives from Homicide Squad are heading to the scene.
