UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese abuses her UN mandate to propagate antisemitism and support terrorism, as documented by UN Watch.
Here are some of her latest outrages from the month of July:
1. Albanese Shares Post Downplaying Targeting of Jews for Wearing Kippah, Calls the Jewish State “the Fourth Reich” (July 30, 2025)
On Facebook, Albanese shared a post that downplayed extreme antisemitism after a Jewish father and his six-year-old son were targeted by a group in Italy on Sunday chanting “Free Palestine” and “murderers.”
Reportedly, the incident began when a cashier shouted “Free Palestine,” upon noticing that he and his son were wearing kippahs. The post Albanese shared claimed that the two were attacked for being Zionists, not because they wore kippahs, and that this is a distraction by the press from “talking about the kidnapping and abduction of Italian citizens in international waters by the Fourth Reich.”
The post adds, “the lying Zionist device sets off right here: passing a political charge for ethnic or religious prejudice” and that “Zionists can only make big things on social media, where there’s no physical presence, and they take advantage of their lobbies.” To conclude, the post writes that “the Resistance is not celebrated in memorials today, but it is done everywhere the Fourth Reich extends its criminal hand or its death propaganda.”
2. Albanese Again Minimizes Rape and Sexual Violence by Hamas on October 7th (July 7, 2025)
Since Hamas’s barbaric attacks on October 7th, the UN’s Francesca Albanese has repeatedly denied and downplayed the evidence of rape occurring by Hamas against Israeli civilians, going so far as to egregiously claim that “there is no evidence of rape.”
This month, Albanese appeared on Sky News to minimize evidence of rape on October 7th presented in a new report by the Dinah Project. Despite supposedly being a UN “expert,” Albanese claimed that she hasn’t heard of the report, instead sharing that she’s “read other reports written by Israeli, including Israeli sources, Physicians for Human Rights, who have backtracked from what they said in the beginning. So I, of course, I cannot pronounce myself on violence that I don’t know of.”

3. Albanese Compares Corporate Investment in Israel to that of Nazi Germany (July 3, 2025)
This month, Albanese presented a biased and one-sided report at the UN Human Rights Council which systematically criminalized the Jewish state while completely ignoring Palestinian terrorism and rejectionism. Additionally, the report issued a call to sanction U.S. companies such as Google, Amazon, Blackrock for their so-called complicity in Israeli “crimes of apartheid and genocide.”
While presenting the report, Albanese claimed that companies investing in Israel today shares parallels with “corporate complicity in apartheid South Africa and Nazi Germany.”
The report itself also added that “the post-Holocaust industrialists’ trials, such as the I.G. Farben trial, laid the groundwork for recognizing the international criminal responsibility of corporate executives for participation in international crimes,” suggesting that executives of companies working with Israel can and should be charged with international crimes like those who supported the Nazis. For reference, I.G. Farben was the private German chemicals company allied with the Nazis that manufactured the Zyklon B gas used to exterminate Jews and other innocent civilians in the Holocaust.
4. Albanese Again Denies Antisemitic Nature of October 7th (July 24, 2025)
While sitting for an interview with Slovenia’s president, Albanese doubles down on her claim that Hamas’s heinous attacks on October 7th were not driven by antisemitism. She says that acknowledging the antisemitic nature “is so false” as “the motives were not antisemitic” because the attack was “against Israel and Israelis” who “are occupiers.”
Albanese was previously condemned for antisemitism by the French Government and German Government for denying the antisemitic nature of October 7th. France called it “scandalous” to deny that “the October 7 massacre is the largest anti-Semitic massacre of the 21st century.” Germany added that Albanese’s previous remarks were “appalling” and “a disgrace.”
5. Albanese Refers to Israeli Prime Minister by Polish Name in Now-Deleted Tweet (July 9, 2025)
In a quickly deleted tweet (screenshotted below), Albanese refers to the Israeli Prime Minister as “Benjamin (Mileikowsky) Netanyahu,” referencing the surname his father used while living in Poland to attack his ethnicity. By doing so, she implies that the leader of Israel-and by extension, millions of Israeli Jews whose families were once forced into diaspora-are colonizers with no connection to the land.
6. Albanese Bashes the West for Not Stopping “Another Holocaust,” Blames “Neoliberal Tyranny” (July 29, 2025)
Albanese took to social media to condemn the “absolute incapacity of Western leaders to enforce intl law when it comes to Israel.” She then added that “Doing NOTHING, diverting attention, sanctioning individual ministers IS NOT enforcing the intl law that was developed after the Holocaust and WWII to prevent another Holocaust and WWII.” This adds to the long list of statements made by Albanese which invoke the Holocaust for political purposes and attack the West.
Earlier this month, Albanese also spoke in front of The Hague Group, which includes oppressive regimes such as Cuba, to call for solidarity with those standing up against “neoliberal tyranny.”
7. Albanese Uses Sick Child to Spread Propaganda (July 24, 2025)
On social media, Albanese posted a photo of Osama al-Raqab, portraying him as a victim of the “planned famine” being conducted by Israel as “a technique of genocide.” However, in reality, al-Raqab is a very sick child who suffers from cystic fibrosis. In June of this year, Israel facilitated his medical transfer from Gaza to Italy to receive treatment for his condition. Albanese is yet to apologize for again spreading misinformation to peddle Hamas propaganda.
Everything in your post is a lie. The child here is Osama al-Raqab. He has CYSTIC FIBROSIS. He's been treated in Italy since June, his medical transfer enabled by Israel. That your “starvation” case requires photos of kids with serious genetic illnesses shows you have no case. https://t.co/uqh4pcjQaS pic.twitter.com/b5lp8BKoAE

8. Albanese Targets Jewish Conductor Daniel Oren, Smearing Him as “Pro-Genocide” (July 24, 2025)
While amplifying a post smearing Jewish conductor Daniel Oren as a “friend of Netanyahu” and sharing a photo designed to portray him as a demagogue, Albanese goes after Oren, smearing him as “pro-genocide.” This is despite the fact that Oren has no public record of any friendship or connection with Prime Minister Netanyahu. Furthermore, Oren has not made any personal political views public.
Despite all this, Albanese still blasted Oren to her following of nearly 500,000, calling for his performances to “find empty rooms awaiting them, if not adorned with the shrouds that symbolically remind us of the ongoing genocide.”
Francesca Albanese targets conductor Daniel Oren only because he's Jewish. She calls him “pro-genocide”-he's not. She boosts a post calling him a “friend of Netanyahu”-he's not. She shows photo designed to portray him as a demagogue-he's just conducting. Only because he's a Jew. https://t.co/fYhEWwd0kj pic.twitter.com/jkU0V0bEUi

9. Albanese Says There is No “Good Israel,” Jerusalem Light Rail a “War Crime” (July 3, 2025)
In a press conference at the UN Human Rights Council, Albanese claims that the Israeli system must be “dismantled” and that “it’s a fiction that there is a line separating the good Israel within Israel and the bad Israel in the occupied territory. No, the economy is one.”
Later during the address to journalists, Albanese called the Jerusalem Light Rail-which is used both Jewish and Arab citizens-“a war crime.” She then attacked a private company involved in the expansion of the rail system, saying that “the lines that CAF is involved in building include part of their tracks in the West Bank. And these lines connect colonies, colonies with Jerusalem. The colonies are connected through transportation lines with Israel. And as I said, this is illegal. It shouldn’t happen.”
10. Albanese Dangerously Compares Video of Gazan Restaurants to Nazi-era Propaganda (July 24, 2025)
In response to a video showcasing lavish restaurants currently operating in Gaza, Albanese tweets that “nearly one century ago concentration camps were presented as fancy residential areas by criminals and useful idiots believed and even repeated it.” In other words, Albanese is dangerously comparing Nazi propaganda films with social media posts filmed and uploaded by Gazans themselves.
In a separate post two days earlier, Albanese again compares the situation in Gaza to that of the Holocaust, writing that “if the WWII comparison stings, Israel & Co. should consider changing the script, and start respecting the post-WWII laws written to ensure ‘never again’ actually meant something.”
VICTORY: U.S. Sanctions UN’s Francesca Albanese in Unprecedented Move After UN Watch Campaign (July 9, 2025)
In an historic and unprecedented step, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced earlier this month that the U.S. government is sanctioning Francesca Albanese in wake of a massive global campaign by UN Watch.
In sanctioning Albanese under Executive Order 14203, Rubio cited her “illegitimate and shameful efforts to prompt International Criminal Court action against U.S. and Israeli officials, companies, and executives.”Any assets that Albanese has in the U.S. are frozen, Americans are banned from doing business with her, and she is barred from entering the country.
UN Watch thanks the more than 120,000 supporters who joined its campaign and calls on the United Nations to formally terminate Albanese’s mandate and ensure that future appointees meet the standards of impartiality, integrity, and respect for human rights.
