Appeal for dashcam vision after a man dies in crash at Auburn

Police are appealing for information and dashcam vision as investigations continue into a fatal crash at Auburn overnight which left one man dead.

About 3.30am (Wednesday 7 October 2020), emergency services were called to Wellington Road where a black BMW 325i sedan had crashed into a tree.

Officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command, along with NSW Ambulance paramedics, commenced CPR on the driver and sole occupant – an 18-year-old man – who remained trapped in the vehicle. He died at the scene.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is underway.
