Midland Detectives are appealing for information in relation to an incident that occurred on Smallman Place in Ashfield on Monday 5 September 2022.
About 12:40pm, a 37-year-old woman, was walking with her two children in a pram, when it will be alleged a 15-year-old girl approached the victim and assaulted her. It will be further alleged the girl attempted to steal the victim's handbag.
The 15-year-old girl was taken into custody a short time later at an address in Ashfield. She has been charged with one count of robbery.
She is next due to appear in the Geraldton Magistrates Court on 13 September 2022.
Police are today releasing CCTV vision of the incident in an effort to identify the movements of the persons depicted.
