Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary which occurred in Bendigo earlier this week.
Officers have been told a man attended a property on Hargreaves Street about 10am on Sunday 15 December and went to the back door.
He entered the house and stole a purse and keys before being confronted by a female resident who was home at the time.
The man walked out to the backyard and was further confronted by the woman who demanded the return of her keys and purse.
The offender complied before running from the property and heading toward Nolan Street.
Investigators have released a computer-generated image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
