Berridale Roadworks, Drainage Upgrades Progress

Major earthworks are complete and new culverts are in place as work continues on Council's drainage upgrade project in Berridale.

Roadworks associated with the ongoing works are proceeding well, with the minor road closure and heavy vehicle detour to remain in place until all work is complete.

Council expects the project to be complete and all roads reopened by Tuesday 18 August 2026, weather permitting, as originally advised.

The original timeline for the project remains on track, despite excavation works uncovering a damaged water pipe and eroded pit that required immediate repair. A new pit and concrete headwall are now in place and work has resumed.

Council has recently received newly commissioned flood modelling and construction designs for the proposed next stage of the project.
