Boil Water Alert Lifted In Batchelor

The boil water alert for Batchelor is cancelled, effective immediately.

The Chief Health Officer verified test results, showing that the water is free from E. coli or any harmful bacteria.

The Chief Health Officer has advised that water in Batchelor is safe to drink, and boiling is no longer required.

Numbulwar and Adelaide River boil water alert

The boil water alert for Numbulwar and Adelaide River remains in place.

People in these areas should continue to use cooled, boiled water or bottled water drinking, cooking, preparing baby formula or brushing teeth.

The boil water alert will remain in place until water quality test results indicate the water is safe to drink.

Public health remains the priority, and the alert will only be lifted when the Chief Health Officer is confident the water supply is safe to drink.
