The Albanese Government is delivering on the commitments it took to the election to improve access, resilience and economic opportunity in the City of Marion.
The area is a major beneficiary of the Government's substantial investment in suburban and regional Australia announced in last week's Federal Budget.
The Budget is delivering:
- $6 million for the South Adelaide Basketball Club Stadium
- $2.5 million for the Marino Hall Redevelopment
- $671,500 for Greening our streets, delivering investment in various public spaces in the Marion Council Area
- $616,000 for the Mema Court Reserve and Hessing Crescent Reserve Upgrades, for upgrade of equipment and installation of new items at the Mema Court Reserve and Hessing Crescent Reserves.
