Budget delivers for City of Marion

The Albanese Government is delivering on the commitments it took to the election to improve access, resilience and economic opportunity in the City of Marion.

The area is a major beneficiary of the Government's substantial investment in suburban and regional Australia announced in last week's Federal Budget.

The Budget is delivering:

  • $6 million for the South Adelaide Basketball Club Stadium
  • $2.5 million for the Marino Hall Redevelopment
  • $671,500 for Greening our streets, delivering investment in various public spaces in the Marion Council Area
  • $616,000 for the Mema Court Reserve and Hessing Crescent Reserve Upgrades, for upgrade of equipment and installation of new items at the Mema Court Reserve and Hessing Crescent Reserves.
