Building fire at Crows Nest

Emergency services remain at the scene of a building fire in Sydney's north.

About 5.45am today (Friday 9 October 2020), emergency services were called to Falcon Street near Alexander Street, Crows Nest, after reports a building was on fire.

Officers from North Shore Police Area Command evacuated residents from nearby buildings, and no injuries have been reported.

Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze, but the three-storey building sustained extensive damage.

A crime scene has been established, and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
