Burglary with violence – Logan Reserve

Police are investigating after two men wearing masks made demands for property after entering a residence at Logan Reserve overnight, Queensland Police say.

Around 9.45pm last night two men, who were armed with a tomahawk, machete and hammer, entered the Sidney Court house through a closed but unlocked front door.

Once inside the men forcibly moved the occupants who were a 46-year-old woman, 23-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and two 18-year-old men to the lounge room where demands for property were made.

Money, jewellery, mobile phones and car keys were taken from the residents.

The offenders have left the scene in one of the resident’s vehicles, a silver 2007 Toyota Corolla sedan with Queensland registration 064 VNW.

During the incident the occupants of the house were assaulted by the men causing minor injuries.
