Casuarina Unlawful Entry: Police Arrest Suspects, Recover Stolen Vehicles

Northern Territory Police have arrested 4 youths in relation to several unlawful entries and stolen vehicles over the course of Wednesday night.

Just after 4:30am Thursday morning, police received a report that a business on Trower Road had been unlawfully entered and had 3 vehicles stolen. A short time later 2 of these vehicles were used to unlawfully enter a licensed premises in Lyons which resulted in a quantity of alcohol being stolen.

General Duties, Strike Force Trident and the Dog Operation Unit were all deployed and located 2 of the vehicles driving in convoy through the Northern Suburbs. A pursuit commenced with 1 of the vehicles and this later resulted in 3 youths aged 12 and 13 years old being arrested in the Palmerston area. The two remaining stolen vehicles were later recovered by Police and a fourth youth aged 13 years old has since been arrested.

The offenders were remanded in custody to appear to Darwin Local Court today.
