Detectives from the WA Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team have charged a man in relation to the possession of child exploitation material.
This morning, Thursday 1 September 2022, detectives from the WA Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team executed a search warrant at a residence in Mirrabooka.
During the search several electronic items were seized and a preliminary examination of two of the devices was undertaken.
It will be alleged material consistent with child exploitation material was located.
A full examination of all of the devices will be conducted.
A 44-year-old Mirrabooka man has been charged with two counts of 'Possessing Child Exploitation Material'. He was refused bail and is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today, Thursday 1 September 2022.
