City of Darwin is taking break

Christmas is coming and that means City of Darwin offices will close from 5pm Friday, 23 December until Tuesday, 3 January.

Some operational services will continue over the break with all other services re-opening on 3 January.

Customer service at the Civic Centre and the Operations Centre will be closed until 3 January.

Darwin City, Nightcliff and Karama libraries will all be closed across the break. Casuarina Library will open from Wednesday, 28 December from 9am to 5pm. It will operate from 9am to 12 noon on Saturday, 31 December. But it will be closed on Sunday, 1 January and Monday, 2 January.

Parap and Nightcliff pools be open from Monday 26 December but will be closed on New Year's Day. There will some changes to pool operating hours across the break.

The animal pound will be closed on 25, 26 and 27 December. It will open on 28 through to 31 December from 9am to 12 noon by appointment only. It will be closed on 1 and 2 January.

Operating hours at Shoal Bay Waste Management Facility will be unaffected except for Christmas Day, when it will be closed.
