Clarkson Aggravated Burglary

Joondalup Detectives are investigating a serious aggravated burglary incident that occurred in the early hours of Sunday 22 October 2023, in Clarkson.

About 5.10am, the victim – a woman in her 40's – was asleep in her home with her four-year-old child when she was disturbed by a loud noise coming from the rear of the address.

The victim awoke to find an unknown man shouting while he smashed his way through the rear sliding glass door of the house.

Upon entry, the man threatened the woman and her child with a hammer while demanding she hand over her bag and car keys.

The man then attended the garage of the premises and used the stolen keys to steal the victim's Silver Hyundai Accent – registration 1HQH 437.

As inquiries continue, detectives have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to identify.
