Communication device stolen from Largs Bay

Police are investigating the theft of a special needs communication device from a parked car at Largs Bay on Saturday night.

Sometime between 10.30pm on Saturday 17 August and 6.45am the next morning, someone entered the unlocked car on the Esplanade, Largs Bay and stole a Tobii Eye Gaze special needs computer.

The device, which resembles a laptop, uses eye tracking and movement to enable the victim's non-verbal daughter to communicate.

Anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information on the whereabouts of the special needs device is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 - you can remain anonymous.
