Cannington Detectives are seeking information regarding an attempted armed robbery incident in Como on Sunday 11 February 2024.
About 9:30pm, the female victim left the Canning Bridge Train Station and was walking along the freeway footpath towards Manning Road.
Three males wearing dark clothing, riding a light-coloured e-scooter, approached the victim and attempted to steal her handbag while making threats towards her.
The victim ran to a nearby member of the public who was fishing in the river, and the offenders left the area on the e-scooter in the direction of the Gentilli Boat Ramp.
Anyone with information regarding this incident, or who saw three males on an e-scooter in the surrounding area just before or just after 9:30pm, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
