Council is inviting community feedback on the Stuart Park Spatial Framework for Blakehurst.
A Spatial Framework helps guide the future planning and improvement of public open spaces. It identifies opportunities for future upgrades and helps Council prioritise investment.
Community feedback will help inform the framework, which will consider:
-
How people currently use the park.
-
What the community values most about the park.
-
Facilities that may require renewal in the future.
-
The opportunities and constraints of the site.
-
Potential priorities for future improvements.
Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg encourages residents and park users to share their ideas and experiences.
"Stuart Park is an important community space, and we want to hear from the people who use it most," Mayor Borg said.
"Community feedback will help us better understand what people value about the park. This will ensure future planning reflects local needs, priorities, and aspirations."
Consultation is open until 13 September 2026.
