Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Coolgardie this morning, Wednesday 7 July 2021.
About 5.14am, a black Holden ute was travelling east on Woodward Street when it collided with an embankment.
A 52-year-old male passenger died from his injuries at the scene.
The 56-year-old male driver and a 40-year-old male passenger were not seriously injured in the crash.
Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
