Coronavirus updates for City of Perth community

With the increase in reported cases in Australia of person-to-person incidents of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) the City of Perth is stepping-up its preparedness for the likelihood of reported virus incidences here in Perth.

The latest Western Australian Department of Health modelling indicates there will be a higher risk of COVID-19 spreading through Western Australia by late April or mid-May while August is forecast to be the most dangerous period.

The City of Perth urges residents, businesses and workers to continue to instigate healthy and safe practices whether at home or in the workplace.

We recommend keeping up to date on the Coronavirus through the Australian Government's Department of Health, while the World Health Organisation also has some great 'Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) advice for the public'.
