The Federation Council community has officially celebrated the Corowa Aquatic Centre fifth anniversary with a big birthday bash hosted on Tuesday 28 April, 2026 along with a Free Come & Try day.
We were grateful to see so many people enjoying the facility on the day including a slice of birthday cake. Since opening its doors, the Corowa Aquatic Centre has become a cornerstone of regional recreation.
Federation Council Mayor, Cr Cheryl Cook, said the five year anniversary is a testament to the vibrant community spirit in the region.
"Reaching this milestone is a proud moment for Council, and it wouldn't have been possible without the incredible support from our residents and visitors," Mayor Cook said.
"Over this time we have seen 171,074 admissions, $2,255,673.31 in sales, $684,031.38 attributed to the Learn to Swim program and 8,711 hours in lane hire."
"We have loved watching our local swimmers grow, from those taking their very first steps in the water during Learn to Swim classes to our dedicated squad members. This facility has truly become a place where our community connects, and we are thrilled to be giving back with our free 'Come and Try' day and these exclusive April offers."
"We look forward to continue seeing everyone poolside to celebrate five years of health, fitness, and fun," Mayor Cook added.
To thank the residents who have supported the facility, the following anniversary offers are currently available through to the end of April:
