Council Reviews MAPP/OAS Report, Marks Anti-Terror Day

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, June 3, at 9:30 EDT (13:30 GMT) in the Simón Bolívar Hall at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., to discuss, among other topics:

• The fortieth report of the OAS Mission to Support the Peace Process in Colombia (MAPP/OAS)

• Commemoration of the Inter-American Day against Terrorism

• The 2025 Annual report of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) to the fifty-sixth regular session of the General Assembly

• Presentation of the resolution "Organized crime and human rights in the Americas" of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR)

• Artificial intelligence and the rights of children and adolescents in the Americas: towards child-centered inter-American governance
