Drink driver detected at Fulham Gardens, South Australia

Police are seeking witnesses to driving behaviour after detecting a drink driver at Fulham Gardens overnight.

About 1.10am on Tuesday 5 February, police came across a black Porsche station wagon stationary on Tapleys Hill Road, Fulham Gardens.

The vehicle had sustained significant damage, with both driver's side tyres blown and it had been travelling on its rims.

The driver, a 56-year-old man from the western suburbs, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.137. He was issued with an instant loss of licence for six months and reported for drink driving and aggravated driving without due care.

Parts of tyre were found along Tapleys Hill Road and Military Road, West Beach and police would like to hear from anyone who saw this Porsche station wagon driving last night or any incidents it was involved in.
