DTU is once again at the top of the list when engineers and students are asked to name the most popular engineering workplaces. In the trade journal Ingeniørens Profilanalyse 2025, DTU ranks third, surpassed only by Novo Nordisk and Lego.
DTU has moved up two places in the "overall image" category, mainly due to students giving DTU a better rating.
"It is very gratifying that students and engineers give DTU such high ratings. This reflects not only that DTU is a good place to work, but also that DTU is succeeding in its clear focus on offering Europe's best engineering education and creating the best possible conditions for excellent research and innovation," says DTU President Anders Bjarklev.
The profile analysis from the Danish media Ingeniøren was conducted by Teknologiens Mediehus, which measures 90 selected workplaces with the highest number of engineers employed in Denmark. The survey is based on responses from more than 6,600 engineers, technology profiles and students within the STEM subjects Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
In 2024, DTU achieved top rankings on a number of lists in both Denmark and the EU. For the second year in a row, the university was named the best technical university in the EU by EngiRank, and DTU was also among the four universities in the EU that received the most research funding from the EU. From the Horizon Europe programme alone, DTU received more than DKK 1.5 billion in 2024.
