Fatal Traffic Crash in Toowoomba Area: Police Responding

A 49-year-old man has died following a motorbike and truck crash at Cotswold Hills early this morning, Wednesday June 21.

Emergency services were called to the incident at the intersection of Bridge Street and Nugent Pinch Road around 5.20am.

Initial investigations suggest both vehicles were travelling westbound when the crash occurred.

The 49-year-old motorbike rider died at the scene, while the truck driver was uninjured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.

The road has since reopened to traffic.
