Firearm Seized In Southern Suburbs

Three people have been arrested for drug trafficking and firearm offences in the southern suburbs.

On Wednesday 9 September, police attended a property at Plympton Park where a male and female of the property were present.

As a result of a search police located a 3D printer, blueprints for the manufacture of firearms, firearm parts and trafficable quantities of cannabis, 1.4 butanediol (fantasy), methamphetamine and LSD.

Whilst police were at the property a third man presented where police will allege when he was searched a trafficable quantity of 1.4 butanediol (fantasy) and methamphetamine, as well as a loaded sawn-off shotgun in his backpack.

A 59-year-old man and 70-year-old women were arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled drug and manufacture a firearm.

A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled drug, manufacture a firearm and aggravated possession of a firearm without a licence.

They were all bailed to appear in court at a later date.
