Four-vehicle crash in Penshurst

A man was arrested after his hatchback allegedly struck four vehicles in Penshurst overnight, NSW Police said.

Police from St George Local Area Command were called to Cronin Avenue, Penshurst, at 10.50pm (Friday 1 April 2016), responding to reports of a multi-vehicle crash.

They found a black Honda Civic – which had rolled twice and landed back on its wheels – as well as three other damaged vehicles.

The alleged driver of the hatchback, a 19-year-old man from Sans Souci, was arrested a short time later in King Georges Road at Hurstville.

He was taken to St George Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries, as well as having blood and urine tests conducted.

The man has been released pending the results of the blood and urine tests.
