Campbelltown residents are encouraged to grab their helmets and get ready to roll, following the opening of Glenfield Urban Bike Park on Fawcett Road, Glenfield.

The newly completed facility features three asphalt-surfaced jump line trails, including a beginner line with rollers and berms to build fundamental riding skills, as well as intermediate and advanced jump lines designed to help riders develop and refine their technique.

Complemented by sandstone riding features, the facility offers a purpose-built destination where riders of all ages and abilities can build confidence, race their friends and enjoy an active outdoor recreation experience close to home.

"It's exciting to see Glenfield Urban Bike Park now open and ready for the community to use," said Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr Darcy Lound.

"Whether you're an experience rider, or just getting started, this is a great opportunity to get on your bike, have some fun and make the most of the new facility, right in our own LGA," Cr Lound said.

Member for Macquarie Fields, Anoulack Chanthivong MP, said the new bike park would provide local families with more recreational opportunities.

"The new Glenfield Urban Bike Park is a wonderful asset for our growing community, giving people of all skill levels the opportunity to engage in fitness and fun."

The Glenfield Urban Bike Park is one of three bike track projects delivered this year across Campbelltown, alongside the St Helens Park Youth Space and the Kanbyugal Parklands Mountain Bike Park Trail Network.

The Glenfield Urban Bike Park project is proudly funded by the NSW Government through the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program.
