A man will face court today charged with sexual offences following an investigation on the Central Coast.
On Monday 20 July 2026, detectives attached to Brisbane Water Police District commenced an investigation into reports of an alleged sexual touching incident at a hospital in Gosford.
Police were told that a patient, an 84-year-old woman, had allegedly been sexually touched by a hospital employee.
About 3pm on Tuesday 21 July 2026, detectives attended a hospital in Gosford where a 26-year-old man was arrested.
He was taken to Gosford Police Station where he was charged with aggravated sexually touch another person.
He was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 6 yesterday (Wednesday 22 July 2026), where he was granted strict conditional bail to appear before Gosford Local Court on Wednesday 29 July 2026.
Following further inquiries, police re-arrested the 26-year-old man at Gosford Police Station yesterday afternoon.
He was charged with aggravated sexually touch another person, and was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 6 today (Thursday 23 July 2026).
Detectives are continuing inquiries under Strike Force Malakor, with the assistance of NSW Health.
