Inquiries underway after newsagent robbed at Ulladulla

Police are appealing for public assistance after a newsagency was robbed on the state’s South Coast earlier today.

Just before midday (Thursday April 29), an unknown man – armed with a knife and with a stocking covering his face – entered a newsagency on Wason Street, Ulladulla, and threatened a 53-year-old female employee.

Another employee, a 49-year-old man, intervened and handed the man cash before he fled; he was last seen in a carpark behind Wason Street.

Although shaken, both employees were uninjured.

Officers from South Coast Police District attended and commenced an investigation.
