Investigation into serious crash continues - Eastern Creek

Police are investigating after a serious multi-vehicle crash in Sydney's west yesterday.

About 5.15pm (Friday 4 June 2021), emergency services were called to Wonderland Drive at Eastern Creek following reports a Toyota Prado had crashed into the rear of a parked B-double semi-trailer.

Officers from Mount Druitt Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced inquiries, before handing over to officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit, who are investigating.

The driver of the Prado, a 32-year-old woman, was uninjured. A 17-year-old girl who was travelling in a Jeep was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with serious injuries.

The 42-year-old male driver of the Jeep was uninjured.

Meanwhile, an 80-year-old female driver of a Camry and her male passenger, aged 88, were also taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for treatment.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage of the incident is urged to call Mount Druitt Police or Crime Stoppers.
