It's Time For Some Country and Barbeque

We are excited to bring you 'A Bit of Country and BBQ' in Narrandera this spring.

Our free, family friendly event, is showcasing country rock talent with a line-up including local artists Texas Rose and Sameera Bashir, and featuring headline act Southbound XO.

Southbound XO is a new Australian all-female country/rock band featuring Missy Lancaster, Sarah Bernardo and Andrea Krakovska, who Triple M Country describe as "AUS-Country's Hottest Supergroup".

If you are an aspiring country/rock performer reserve a mic time via Eventbrite for the 'Open Mic' session mid-afternoon, with great prizes to be won for a 'People's Choice' award. Or show your support by coming along to cheer on the local talent having a go.

Throughout the day we have various barbeque themed cooking demonstrations including Shannon Walker from team All Things Meat of Meatstock fame, local indigenous barbeque styles and a surprise dessert demonstration. Food on sale will include American barbeque, local community barbeque experts and various international barbeque flavours. Appearances from local taste sensations ensure there is something for everyone.

Bring along your chair and enjoy a great day at Narrandera Sportsground filled with music and food, Saturday 19 November from 11am to 8pm.

Free registration is available at abitofcountryandbbq.eventbrite.com .

This event is funded by the NSW Government Reconnecting Regional NSW Community Events Program and brought to you by Narrandera Shire Council.
